Restore Your Alignment. Ease Your Mind & Body.
The spine is the core support of our bodies and our health.
When the spine is out of alignment, it can affect our entire bodies from head to toe. Misalignment can lead to pains you might associate with chiropractor care such as:
- Neck and back pain
- Headaches
- Stiffness and tension
- Muscle weakness
- Joint swelling
- Tingling or numbness
It can also treat other issues within the body you may not realize such as:
- Ear infections
- Arthritis and joint pain
- Asthma
- High blood pressure
- Poor digestion
- Low immune system
Even more, care from a chiropractor can improve symptoms you may never have thought are related to your spine health, such as:
- Depression
- Insomnia
- Stress
- Lack of Focus
- Fatigue
Chiropractic care can improve the overall quality of your life.
Not only does care from a chiropractor improve the physical problems you experience. It helps improve the mental blocks and stresses you are also experiencing due to your misalignment.
By fixing your spine, you resolve issues in your body and mind. You will feel less anxious, tense, and stressed. You will regain focus, energy, and even improve your mood.
Chiropractic care is built on the foundation that adjusting the spine helps the nervous system. The nervous system is a complex network of nerves and cells that carry messages throughout our bodies. The spinal cord is an integral part of this system which is another reason why working on the spine can improve both physical and mental health and wellness.
What Does a Chiropractor Do?
A chiropractor performs adjustments or manipulations that correct alignment problems in the spine. Each adjustment or manipulation is performed on a vertebra that has an abnormal movement pattern or is failing to function normally. The movements release chemicals that cause joint pressure.
Along with adjustments and manipulations, a chiropractor may also treat patients using:
- Electrical stimulation
- Heat and ice
- Relaxation techniques
For the best results, our chiropractor often encourages patients to make lifestyle changes that also aid in recovery. They may advise clients to change their diets, lose weight, and engage in other physical activities and exercise.
What Makes Chiropractor Care Unique at Loving Life Therapy?
Because the outcome of chiropractor care can be improved by making lifestyle changes, Loving Life Therapy works with our clients to create a holistic wellness plan.
Our chiropractor leads the chiropractic care and treatment, but they also partner with our other wellness team members to create a full plan that helps patients get to and resolve the root of the problem.
Our goal is not to mask the pain. Our goal is to fix the problem that is causing the pain in the first place.
We know that any given problem is not created by one thing. So we come at it from various angles to treat issues throughout the entire body as well as the mind.
There are many situations and conditions that may lead to the need of chiropractic care. If you have had any of the following, you can benefit from chiropractic care:
- Auto accidents
- Slip and falls
- Aging
- Poor posture
- Athletic injuries
- Work related injuries
- Scoliosis
- Osteoporosis
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
But you may not have experienced any of these conditions or symptoms and still be suffering from misalignment.
At Loving Life Therapy, we know that each person and situation is unique.
We work to get to the full story of a person’s health and wellness habits and circumstances to develop a plan that will create lasting relief and long-term results.
How Does the Chiropractic Care Process Work?
All chiropractic patients at Loving Life Therapy begin with an initial intake appointment.
During the intake, patients and our chiropractor discuss the patient’s history, symptoms, medical history, dietary habits, and past treatment history.
If you already have x-rays, you will be advised to bring them or let us know where we can request the records. We will review the x-rays during the intake. If you don’t have x-rays, at the end of the appointment, you will be advised on where to go to get them.
From there, the chiropractor will set you up with a custom treatment plan designed to treat your unique needs. Because combining care services can help accelerate the healing process, the provider will also explain what other holistic care options can help support your wellness program.
